How often we only see our part in the big picture and become frustrated with someone else’s slice of life. Everyday people are so overloaded with performance expectations and fearing failure that they become entwined in rigors of the daily routine. Our idea of important activities stretch us toward responsibilities that may keep us away from reaching out of the boundaries of this tiny piece we know. Team members must work at understanding the importance of the other members of their team. Remember, the team functions best when everyone is linked together in proper form.
I have seen team members lash out toward one another in the midst of overload frustration. The premise of TEAM must have temporary floated away searching for new territory where it is embraced once again. Team work takes constant effort. Some might call this ENERGY. What happens when an automobile becomes low on energy, or fuel? Yes, you got it! It has potential for no movement in the near future. Automobile manufacturers have included a WARNING LIGHT to appear when the danger of low fuel is to occur. Maybe we need to pay attention when God is flashing a WARNING LIGHT for us during the occurrence of low fuel. Team members, it is time to refuel in order to gain maximum levels of ENERGY.
Being encompassed in an array of things that consume our attention may allow the demise of God’s full purpose for us. Don’t be in danger of aborting great things accomplished by your team.
Daily we must open our hearts to The Heavenly Father and afford Him undivided attention so that hearing and obeying becomes instinctive. He is the greatest team leader anyone will ever have.
Remember, keep our mind and heart toward the leader and we will never forget that we are All in this together!

Each morning at school I greet my classes with a good morning before we began our lesson for the day. One of the students responded with, “It is NOT a good day. Quickly the words that came from my mouth were, “Everyday is a great day—SOME ARE JUST MORE GREAT THAN OTHERS!” As soon as those words came from my mouth I got extremely excited! How those words encouraged myself as I was rapidly reminded of one of my close friend’s great teaching about the power of our words. Speaking life at all times is imperative to those whom we influence. How could I do anything but speak life if I truly love Jesus and commune with Him daily?

You may have heard the saying, “You are what you eat.” Could that mean if I consume life giving words that I will also produce life giving words? Remember, everyday is a great day to influence someone in a life giving manner.
